The Power Of Gratitude
“Happiness consists more in small conveniences or pleasures that occur everyday, than in great pieces of good fortune that happen but seldom.”
– Ben Franklin
Staying positive at all costs is most likely the most dysfunctional state of being.
Life gets tough.
Bad things may happen.
And the world can be a dark place.
And this is where being grateful helps.
As tough as that sounds like, to be thankful during the darkest times, it is a start.
By accepting the pain, the loss, the hurt, the disappointment, the failure… we stop fighting.
When we stop fighting, it allows space for us to move forward
When we get ourselves unstuck then we start to realize that the most important things in life are still present.
There are many reasons in our lives to be grateful for and to keep us hopeful.
When our world seems to be caving in on us, think of 3 things or people that you’re grateful for in your life.
Just take a moment and think of those 3 things… those 3 people…
Your significant other.
Taking a few moments to be grateful can shine a light at the end of that tunnel.
Taking a few seconds to be grateful will bring hope to a hopeless place.
Taking a few minutes to be grateful may change your life.
Is it gonna solve all of your problems?
Most likely not however it will remind you to keep going because you have all these people and things present in your life.
