I am a mental health counselor dedicated to supporting individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, and life transitions. I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Lock Haven University. My clinical approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and person-centered approaches, to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical tools for coping and growth.
Through my work as a crisis counselor, I supported individuals of all ages experiencing substance use concerns and worked directly with adolescents facing bullying. I have also volunteered at a local women's center addressing community needs. These experiences strengthened my commitment to helping people navigate overwhelming emotions and difficult life experiences with compassion and understanding.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in evidence-based care. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe exploring their experiences, gaining insight, and building skills that support lasting change.
I am also a strong advocate for the LGBTQ+ community and am committed to creating an inclusive and affirming environment where all individuals feel respected and supported. Therapy can be a place for you to slow down, process what you've been carrying, and begin moving forward with greater clarity, confidence, and self-trust.
